Finalizing My Domain Name

I have finally decided on the domain name I will be hosting the blog with. It took a minute but I finally decided on getting the domain withcalv.in.

Let me go through the thought process of getting the domain. Initially, I was thinking of something along the lines of technology and calvin. I have always wanted a domain that is personal to me, something that has my name on it. I know it sounds so narcissistic but it has been always a thought of mine. So I got to canvassing domain names. It turns out, it was quite hard to find a good domain name, most nice ones are already taken. I had to rethink the domain name. I thought, why not go with subdomains. People always say to have a short domain name so it will be easily remembers. In the end I went with withcalv.in, this gives me flexibility of adding a separate blog where I can talk about other things like spiritual journey and maybe I can merge it with this blog. For now, I can start with this. Finally, I ended with with tech.withcalv.in which includes my name and the topic I want to write about. So far, I'll try my best to keep this site active. Next step is to jazz up the blog a bit, the current one looks too vanilla and it really is not my style. I will play around some CSS maybe some tailwind stuff to make the site more appealing. That is it for this post.
